LVUSD+ Programs: Vision & Commitment
At LVUSD+, we are proud to provide high-quality after-school and camp programs designed to engage, enrich, and support the whole child. Our programs are led by caring and trained staff, rooted in safe environments, and developed with thoughtful planning to meet the diverse needs of our students and families.
We stand by the quality of our programming, our staff, and the experiences we offer. From hands-on learning to social development, our mission is to create meaningful moments that promote growth, confidence, and joy. With this in mind, our refund policies reflect the commitment, planning, and resources that go into each session.


LVUSD+ Summer & Sports Camps Refund Policy
1. Refunds & Cancellations

All camp registrations are non-refundable once the session has started.

“Session” is defined as the week the participant is registered to attend.

Families will receive a refund (minus a $50 cancellation fee per camp session) up to May 1st. Following the May 1st date, no refunds will be issued.
2. Camp Credit

In the case of illness, emergency, or family circumstances, families may request credit for unused days. Credit is valid for up to 1 calendar year and may be applied toward a future LVUSD+ program.

Credits are not guaranteed and must be requested in writing. The decision by the Director of Program Advancement is final.
3. No Refunds for Missed Days or Personal Preference

We do not issue refunds or credits for missed days due to vacations, illness, or a student’s personal preference.

We strive to partner with families to ensure our programs are a positive fit for each participant. If space allows, we are happy to explore transferring your student to another LVUSD+ camp or program. However, please note that we are unable to offer refunds based on a student’s personal enjoyment or preference.

We are committed to maintaining a safe, respectful, and inclusive environment for all students. If disruptive behavior occurs, camp staff will notify families and provide one formal warning. If a student is dismissed from the program due to ongoing behavior concerns or policy violations, no refund or credit will be issued. Please refer to the camp handbook for behavioral expectations.
4. Changes to Enrollment

One schedule change may be requested (based on availability) at no cost. This includes transfers, requests to change weeks, or switching to another camp.

Additional changes may incur a $25 administrative fee.
LVUSD+ After School Program Refund Policy
1. Refunds After Registration

Once a student is enrolled and the program begins, tuition is non-refundable. This is due to the advance planning of staffing, materials, and facility use based on enrollment.

If a family chooses to cancel enrollment, they will not be charged for future months, but no refund will be issued for the current month or any prior payments. Requests to cancel must be made in writing prior to the next month’s invoice.
2. Before Program Start

Cancellations submitted prior to the first day of the program may be eligible for a refund if tuition has been collected, minus a $25 administrative fee.

Please note: Registration fees are non-refundable.

All cancellation requests must be submitted in writing via email.
3. Mid-Year Withdrawals

If a family chooses to withdraw mid-month or mid-term, no prorated refunds will be issued.

Exceptions may be considered for emergencies or relocations, with documentation and at the discretion of the program director.
4. No Refunds for Disinterest or Behavior Dismissals

We are committed to maintaining a safe, respectful, and inclusive environment for all students. If disruptive behavior occurs, camp staff will notify families and provide one formal warning. If a student is dismissed from the program due to ongoing behavior concerns or policy violations, no refund or credit will be issued.
