Financial Assistance

While the District does not offer financial assistance for after-care programs, families may qualify for support through county-based childcare resource agencies. Eligibility is based on county of residence, with different programs available for families living in Los Angeles County and Ventura County, as outlined below. Although the District is unable to assist families in securing financial assistance or subsidies, families are encouraged to work directly with CCRC or CDR for support.

Families who are approved for assistance through the Child Care Resource Center (CCRC) or Child Development Resources (CDR) are asked to submit all approval documentation to plus@lvusd.org.

Please note:

• Approval for subsidized care through CCRC or CDR does not guarantee enrollment in the LVUSD+ program, nor does it automatically register a student.
• Program placement is based on staffing availability and space.
• Families must still complete registration for LVUSD+ through Procare.

If families believe they are eligible for CCRC or CDR, or were previously eligible for subsidized child care, and are accepted into LVUSD+, the District will hold the family’s spot in the program for up to 60 days without requiring a registration fee. Because CCRC and CDR do not reimburse families directly, the District will not charge the family this fee. Parents are responsible for submitting the approval paperwork to the District so that tuition can be reimbursed by these entities.
